2FA compliance

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is mandatory for MailUsers (email accounts) if Premium relay is disabled or there is no relayhost configured.

Relay host (smarthost) can be configured from Settings → Postfix relayhost

The system disables a MailUser if 2FA is disabled for 3 consecutive days.

Get started by following these simple steps

From Domains tab: add and verify a domain
Add DNS records for your domain as mentioned in Domains tab: under Actions column → press Info button
From Accounts tab: add a MailUser
Log out and then log in as MailUser to send & receive emails

Your IMAP port is: 993

Your POP port is: 995

Your SMTP port is: 587

Your IMAP / POP / SMTP server hostname is: {{ server_hostname }}

Your IMAP/POP session should use SSL/TLS and your SMTP session, STARTTLS

Your account has been blocked from sending due to abusive activity. To be unblocked, perform the following:

Update password
Enable 2FA

Ensure the account is not configured in a misbehaving client application or script that repeatedly tries sending mail even after being rate-limited.
Please note that if the abusive activity continues, i.e., if the underlying problem is not fixed, you would be blocked again.
